Від вулиць Вашингтона до площ Будапешту, від європейських столиць до американських міст — тисячі людей вийшли на мітинги, щоб сказати просту річ: Україну не можна залишити сам на сам із злом.
Світ не може дозволити перетворити міжнародне право на інструмент узаконення злочину
Про це заявив Заслужений юрист України Микола Голомша.
«Під стінами Білого дому люди вимагали у Трампа почути Україну. В Угорщині громадяни стали горою за Україну всупереч позиції Віктора Орбана. Опозиція болісно вдарила по його авторитету на старті виборчого процесу, нагадуючи: мир не будується на заграванні з агресором. У Словаччині лунала критика курсу Роберта Фіцо. Світ починає розуміти: тиск має бути спрямований не на Україну — а на державу-агресора», — каже М. Голомша.
Зима 2025−2026: терор холодом
Ця зима стала однією з найважчих за весь період повномасштабної війни.
За даними відкритих джерел та українських відомств:
• у грудні-січні інтенсивність ракетних та дронових ударів фашистів рф по енергетичній інфраструктурі зросла орієнтовно на 30−40% порівняно з осінню;
• понад 60% теплової генерації зазнало повторних пошкоджень;
• лише за зимові місяці зафіксовано тисячі повітряних атак різного типу;
• сотні цивільних загинули, тисячі — поранені;
• мільйони людей залишалися без стабільного тепла й електропостачання під час морозів.
Це була не випадковість. Це була стратегія.
Коли морози скували країну, удари по ТЕЦ, підстанціях і газовій інфраструктурі стали системними. Мета — не військова перевага. Мета — зламати цивільне населення.
Діти в укриттях. Літні люди у холодних квартирах. Лікарні на генераторах.
Це — спроба примусити націю капітулювати через холод.
Урок санкцій: коли світ діє — агресор відступає
Ми пам’ятаємо: коли американські сенатори, зокрема Ліндсі Грем та Річард Блюменталь, ініціювали жорсткі санкційні законопроєкти та двопалатні рішення в Конгресі США, агресор відразу був змушений сісти за стіл переговорів.
Санкційний тиск — працює.
Військова допомога — працює.
Єдність демократій — працює.
Але кожна пауза, кожне «зачекаймо», кожне пом’якшення — агресор трактує як запрошення бити сильніше.
Нажаль все це обернулось мирною силою для рф.
Зупинка тиску взимку дозволила завдати Україні найболючішого удару саме тоді, коли це було найстрашніше — під час морозів. А тиску завдано по жертві замість агресора.
Небезпека легітимізації злочину
На наступних переговорах росія просуватиме ідею «спільного управління» Запорізькою атомною електростанцією і нажаль, хоче втягнути у цю брудну гру ініціаторів з Білого дому.
Це — пастка.
Спільне управління з агресором означає де-факто визнання його контролю над захопленим ядерним об’єктом. Це створює небезпечний міжнародний прецедент: силове захоплення ядерної інфраструктури з подальшою легітимізацією через «компроміс».
Світ не може дозволити перетворити міжнародне право на інструмент узаконення злочину.
Україна здатна перемогти.
Україна просить інструменти для захисту і звільнення територій:
• сучасну зброю;
• системи ППО;
• далекобійні спроможності;
• нищівні санкції проти енергетики, фінансів та військової промисловості рф;
• повну ізоляцію режиму, який здійснює геноцидні практики.
Українська армія довела: коли має ресурси — вона звільняє території.
Коли має ППО — зберігає життя.
Коли є санкції — агресор слабшає.
МИ ЗАКЛИКАЄМО — громадян демократичних країн:
1. Звернутися до своїх представників у парламентах і Конгресі США з вимогою посилити санкції проти рф.
2. Підтримати надання Україні необхідного озброєння без політичних зволікань.
3. Не допустити жодних рішень, що легітимізують окупацію українських територій чи об’єктів, зокрема ЗАЕС.
4. Спрямувати дипломатичний тиск виключно на агресора, а не на жертву агресії.
5. Зберегти трансатлантичну єдність як головну силу миру.
Ми просимо мирну силу світу націлити на боротьбу зі злом — а не на примус жертви до поступок.
Єдність України, Європи й Америки вже дала результат.
Ще трохи зусиль — і зло буде зупинене.
Світ має вибір:
або холод як зброя і легітимізація агресії,
або справедливість, сила права і перемога свободи.
І цей вибір робиться сьогодні.
AMERICA HAS RISEN.
THE WORLD HAS RISEN FOR UKRAINE
From the streets of Washington to the squares of Budapest, from European capitals to American cities — thousands have taken to the streets to say one simple thing: Ukraine must not be left alone in the face of evil.
Outside the White House, people demanded that Donald Trump hear Ukraine. In Hungary, citizens stood firmly for Ukraine despite the position of Viktor Orbán. The opposition struck a painful blow to his authority at the start of the election cycle, reminding everyone: peace is not built on appeasing an aggressor. In Slovakia, criticism of Robert Fico’s course grew louder.
The world is beginning to understand: pressure must be directed not at Ukraine — but at the aggressor state.
Winter 2025−2026: Terror by Cold
This winter has been one of the harshest of the full-scale war.
According to open sources and Ukrainian authorities:
• In December-January, the intensity of Russian missile and drone strikes against energy infrastructure increased by approximately 30−40% compared to autumn.
• More than 60% of thermal generation facilities suffered repeated damage.
• Thousands of aerial attacks of various types were recorded during the winter months alone.
• Hundreds of civilians were killed, thousands injured.
• Millions of people were left without stable heat and electricity during freezing temperatures.
This was not accidental.
It was a strategy.
As frost gripped the country, systematic strikes targeted thermal power plants, substations, and gas infrastructure. The objective was not military advantage. The objective was to break the civilian population.
Children in shelters. Elderly people in freezing apartments. Hospitals operating on generators.
This was an attempt to force a nation into capitulation through cold.
The Lesson of Sanctions: When the World Acts, the Aggressor Retreats
We remember: when U.S. senators, including Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal, initiated tough sanctions legislation and bipartisan measures in Congress, the aggressor was immediately forced to return to the negotiating table.
Sanctions work.
Military assistance works.
Democratic unity works.
But every pause, every «let us wait,» every softening of pressure — the aggressor interprets as an invitation to strike harder.
Unfortunately, the easing of pressure this winter empowered Russia’s so-called «peace through force» narrative. The slowdown in decisive measures allowed Ukraine to suffer its most painful blow precisely when it was most vulnerable — in the freezing cold. Pressure was applied to the victim instead of the aggressor.
The Danger of Legitimizing a Crime
At upcoming negotiations, Russia is expected to promote the idea of «joint management» of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and, regrettably, seeks to draw initiators from the White House into this dangerous scheme.
This is a trap.
«Joint management» with an aggressor would amount to de facto recognition of its control over a seized nuclear facility. It would create a dangerous international precedent: the forcible capture of nuclear infrastructure followed by its legitimization through «compromise.»
The world cannot allow international law to be transformed into a tool for legalizing crime.
Ukraine Can Win
Ukraine is asking for the tools necessary to defend itself and liberate its territories:
• modern weapons;
• advanced air defense systems;
• long-range capabilities;
• crushing sanctions against Russia’s energy sector, finances, and military industry;
• full isolation of a regime engaged in genocidal practices.
The Ukrainian army has proven:
When it has resources — it liberates territory.
When it has air defense — it saves lives.
When sanctions are imposed — the aggressor weakens.
Resolution
We call on citizens of democratic countries to:
1. Contact your representatives in national parliaments and in the U.S. Congress to demand stronger sanctions against Russia.
2. Support the timely provision of necessary weapons to Ukraine without political delay.
3. Prevent any decisions that would legitimize the occupation of Ukrainian territories or facilities, including the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
4. Direct diplomatic pressure exclusively at the aggressor, not the victim of aggression.
5. Preserve transatlantic unity as the primary force for peace.
We ask the peaceful power of the free world to focus its strength on confronting evil — not on pressuring the victim into concessions.
The unity of Ukraine, Europe, and America has already produced results.
A little more determination — and evil will be stopped.
The world has a choice:
either cold as a weapon and the legitimization of aggression,
or justice, the rule of law, and the victory of freedom.
And that choice is being made today.
