Про це в коментарі i-ua.tv заявив український політик, заслужений юрист України Микола Голомша.
За його словами, для України подібні рішення — це не питання політики, а питання життя і смерті, адже війна триває, і будь-яке послаблення тиску на агресора може мати прямі наслідки на фронті.
Голомша наголосив, що росія веде війну не самостійно. Її підтримують Північна Корея, Іран та Китай, забезпечуючи зброєю, дронами, боєприпасами та технологіями.
«Вони не чекають рішень парламентів і не проходять бюрократію — вони просто ведуть війну. А Україна змушена чекати погоджень і поставок, втрачаючи час і життя людей», — підкреслив він.
Політик зазначив, що додаткові доходи росії від експорту нафти безпосередньо конвертуються у ракети та дрони, які використовуються проти українських міст і цивільного населення.
Окремо він нагадав про дію закону Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, який передбачає, що санкції проти агресора не можуть скасовуватись без участі Конгресу США.
«Це не лише удар по Україні, а й по міжнародному праву», — наголосив Голомша.
Водночас він висловив вдячність американському народу та тим представникам влади США, які виступають проти рішень, що можуть посилити росію або дати їй додаткові ресурси для продовження війни.
Політик також нагадав про зобов’язання США за Будапештський меморандум та закликав не зменшувати підтримку України.
«Несвоєчасна допомога — це втрачені життя, зірвані контратаки і знищені міста», — підсумував він.
Крім того, він застеріг від сигналів, які можуть бути сприйняті агресором як готовність до поступок, згадавши, що подібні меседжі вже озвучують представники російської сторони, зокрема Кирило Дмитрієв.
На завершення Голомша підкреслив: Україна не здасться, а міжнародна спільнота має визначитися, чи готова вона й надалі стояти на боці права та справедливості.
A DECISION THAT STRIKES THE HEART: HOW EASING SANCTIONS ON russia BECOMES A BLOW TO UKRAINE

Reports about the decision of the administration of President Donald Trump to temporarily ease or suspend certain restrictions on russia in the sphere of oil trade — allegedly in the context of broader geopolitical tensions in the Middle East — have struck a painful blow to the very heart of Ukraine.
For us, this is not about politics.
This is about life and death.
Ukraine has been holding back the bloodthirsty, fascist regime of russia for more than four years.
A regime that:
• kills civilians
• destroys cities
• murders and rapes
• commits genocide
• abducts children
• erases identity
And this regime is not alone.
It is supported by:
• North Korea — with weapons, ballistic systems, and ammunition
• Iran — with drones and technologies of terror
• China — covertly, yet systematically, through economic and technological support
Every day, this «axis of evil» supplies:
• missiles
• tanks
• armored vehicles
• ammunition
• manpower
Without delays.
Without procedures.
Without morality.
They do not wait for parliamentary decisions.
They do not go through bureaucracy.
They simply wage war.
And Ukraine?
Ukraine goes through every procedure of the democratic world.
It waits for approvals.
It waits for votes.
It waits for deliveries. And we are deeply grateful to everyone who helps.
And in the meantime — we are bleeding.
Because the truth is simple:
war does not wait for procedures.
Delayed assistance means lost lives.
It means disrupted counteroffensives.
It means weakened defense.
It means destroyed cities.
So we appeal: simplify procedures, make timely decisions.
But the most painful part is something else.
The most painful signal is that russia may receive additional oil revenues.
Revenues that are directly converted into:
• missiles striking Ukrainian cities
• drones hitting residential buildings
• civilian deaths
This is a double blow.
A blow to Ukraine.
And a blow to international law.
Because there is the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act — a law that clearly states: sanctions against an aggressor cannot be lifted unilaterally, without the involvement of Congress.
That is why we are grateful to those in the United States who take a stand.
Who do not remain silent.
Who understand the consequences.
To the American members of Congress who oppose any decisions that:
• strengthen russia
• legitimize aggression
• provide putin with resources for war
We also see and understand:
America is not one person, and not one administration.
America is a state governed by the rule of law.
And we are convinced:
such decisions will be assessed.
Politically.
And, perhaps, legally.
We are grateful to the American people.
We see your support.
We know you understand what we are fighting for.
And we appeal to you:
Do not reduce this support.
Stand with Ukraine.
Influence your government.
Demand decisions that:
• stop the aggressor
• not feed it
Because the United States is a country that has taken on obligations.
Including under the Budapest Memorandum.
And today, these obligations matter.
Ukraine needs:
• missiles
• air defense systems
• weapons to defend and liberate its territories
So that we can not only survive —
but win.
And one more thing.
We ask for basic justice.
And for respect — for the memory of the victims.
Those who were:
• tortured
• killed
• executed in basements
• buried in mass graves
Americans have seen these crimes.
With their own eyes.
And today, any decision that provides resources to the aggressor
looks like a disregard for those victims.
We thank once again everyone who stands with us.
But we also ask:
do not give the enemy even the slightest hope
that the White House will help force Ukraine into capitulation.
Because representatives of the aggressor are already openly speaking about this.
In particular, Kirill Dmitriev.
Ukraine will not surrender.
History does not forgive weakness in the face of evil.
But it remembers those who stood on the side of truth.
Today is the moment to decide.
Whose side are you on.
And may God stand with your choice.
